Barcelona are very hopeful that the signing of Robert Lewandowski can be completed before next Monday. The Spanish club are said to have activated some protocols in order to have the presentation of the striker early next week. There is also the rapid process of changing the Camp Nou grass before then.
According to Gerard Romero of Jijantes, Barça are speeding up the process of changing the grass at Camp Nou for the probable presentation of Lewandowski on Monday. The Blaugrana are already getting ready for the event.
There have been other reports that Barça’s signing of Lewandowski is just a matter of time. It is said that the Spanish club are close to reaching an agreement with Bayern Munich for the striker. If everything goes as planned, the presentation of the 33-year old should take place on Monday.
Although Barça president Joan Laporta has recently said that Bayern have yet to respond to their offer, there is optimism that both parties will soon come to terms over the deal.
Lewandowski has been the major driving force behind the deal. The striker only wants to join Barça, and he has reportedly told Bayern that he wants the deal to be completed as soon as possible.
